About Port Coquitlam

Port Coquitlam is a quiet, pretty place, despite being only 45 minutes up the valley from Vancouver. We have rural properties beneath spectacular mountain vistas, suburban neighbourhoods connected by forests, and spaces yet to be developed, where mountain biking and other trail activities relieve the tensions of Vancouver traffic.

"PoCo" sits proudly where the Fraser River sediments filled in the fjords millennia ago, about forty minutes upriver from Vancouver, in the shadows of Golden Ears and Burke Mountains. Port Coquitlam is distinguished from Coquitlam by virtue of being smaller (pop.57,308), less developed, and a little more small-town. Oh, and we have the Pitt River and Pitt Lake.
